Phase Eight have just released their new Spring collection of clothing which focuses on key elements that feature throughout the season.
The daywear collection has a traditional colour palette of navy, cherry red and white, peppered with tonal marl greys and warm indigo blues. Fine knits and jersey are ideal for layering, while laundered cotton and washed out silks give a worn, soft appearance. Relaxed tailored jackets and tunic dresses are bought up to date with a graphic edge, using bold stripes, spots and clean lines to hint at a modern city sailor look. The belted mac is revisited as the perfect investment piece for the season. While new statement floral prints update the classic jersey dress. Jewellery is chunky and gold, suede ballet pumps and a chain handled bag create a polished, preppy finish.
Knitwear continues to be strong this season, in warm, yet lightweight yarns and cashmere blends. From new asymmetrical shapes through to the classic polo neck knit and the long ribbed cardigan. Intricate stitch detailing on long cardigans and jumpers adds interest, while beading and printed wools create special, versatile daywear pieces.
Finally the Phase Eight collection of dresses feature luxurious, ethnic inspired maxi dresses in rich blues, vibrant greens and clean white, heavily beaded with glitzy sequins. Kaftans in Indian inspired paisley prints, embellished with metallic beads lend an ultra feminine, boho feeling to the look. Whilst cotton peasant blouses, lightweight linen shorts and tailored linen trousers form the basis of the ideal summer holiday wardrobe. The look is accessorized with layers of multi coloured beads, tan leather wedges and chic sunglasses.
